Tabba Kidney Institute is a Post Graduate Training Institute accredited by the College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) for postgraduate residency training leading to fellowship in the speciality of Nephrology & Urology

Our institute has a three year structured training program based on the guidelines laid down by the CPSP and other international teaching bodies. Medical graduates with FCPS-I in Medicine and Allied and have passed Intermediate Module (IMM) in Medicine from the CPSP are eligible to join the program.

During these three years, postgraduate trainee doctors are rotated through different departments of the hospital to expose them to clinical working in a Nephrology set-up.

Depending upon the level of training, they work under the supervision of Registrar, Senior Registrar and Consultants who are approved supervisors of the CPSP and have vast experience of working and teaching in different hospitals. To expose them a variety of clinical challenges, residents are rotated through different hospitals. Those who complete their fellowship training would be sent abroad to further enhance their knowledge and experience.
