Dr Noureen Akhtar

Dr. Noureen Akhtar did her MBBS from Dow University of Health Sciences in 2011, then worked as a house officer at Civil Hospital Karachi for one year, to pursue her medical career she completed her training in General Pediatrics and did her first fellowship in Pediatrics in 2016. She worked as a women’s medical officer in grade 17^th at Sindh Government Children Hospital Karachi for one year. To excel in her field, she completed her 2^nd fellowship in Pediatric Nephrology from Sindh Institute of Urology in 2020. Currently, she is working as a Consultant Pediatric Nephrologist at Tabba Kidney Institute since 2021.

She is a member of the Pakistan Pediatric Association (PRA) and Nephrology group of PRA. She has two publications in national journals.

She has clinical experience of dealing with children with Nephrotic Syndromes, Chronic Kidney disease, End-Stage round disease, she bears skills in Renal Biopsy, Peritoneal dialysis, and hemodialysis (Central venous line insertion)

She also deals with common Pediatric illnesses like Diarrhea (Acute/Chronic) Malnutrition, Pneumonia Typhoid, Malaria, Asthma, etc.
