About me

Dr. Lubna Razzak is currently working as a consultant Urogynaecologist at Tabba kidney institute Karachi. She did her MBBS from Sindh Medical College, Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS), in 2008. After her graduation, she served at Jinnah postgraduate medical college hospital (JPMC) as House Officer. She opted for obstetrics and gynecology for her postgraduate qualification. She joined Civil Hospital, Karachi as a resident OBGYN.

She completed her Fellowship Training (FCPS) in the same hospital from 2010 to 2014. She acquired FCPS from College of Physicians and surgeon Pakistan (CPSP) in 2015 in the specialty of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has acquired two years of fellowship training in Urogynecology and Pelvic reconstructive surgeries from Aga Khan University Hospital, Pakistan in 2018. She also got mini-fellowship in Urogynaecology and Pelvic reconstructive surgeries from Cape Town, South Africa. She served as senior Registrar at Patel Hospital for 1 year. Then she joined Aga Khan University and completed her fellowship and graduated from there in 2018. She worked as a consultant at Zainab Panjwani Hospital and Patel Hospital for 1 year. She joined Tabba Kidney institute in April 2019 as a Consultant Urogynaecologist.
She deals expertly in all Gynaecological and Urogynaecological procedures. Special interest in pelvic organ prolapsed and its reconstructive surgeries, urinary incontinence, and recurrent urinary tract infection. She can perform Minimal invasive surgeries for stress urinary incontinence (tension-free vaginal tape, transobturator tape, burch colposuspension). She also deals with the following problems:

Persistent urethral and bladder pain, Voiding difficulties, Pelvic masses, Urogenital fistulae (vesicovaginal fistula, vesicouterine fistula, urethrovaginal fistula), Rectovaginal fistula, Urinary incontinence medical and surgical management, Interstitial cystitis, Urethral diverticulum, Bladder outlet obstruction surgeries, Cystoscopy, Bladder biopsy, and Vaginal reconstructive surgeries.

She has publications to her credits in both national and international journals. She has also written the chapter “Pathophysiology of Pelvic Organ Prolapse” in the international book of the United Kingdom “Pelvic Floor Disorders”. She has oral and poster presentations at the national and international levels. She conducted many workshops at the national level.

She is a member of various national and international organizations including the International Urogynaecology Association (IUGA), Pakistan Urogynaecology Association (PIGA), and Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Pakistan (SOGP).
